Glakker Guide With steel Tit
Some of the stuff here is out of date mite fix it soon
Copypaste of description:
Killing glacors is decent money (4-5m/hour) and very good effigies (about 0.8 per hour with steel titan). You also get around 1 crimson and blue charm per kill (3 charms dropped at a time with 1/3 chance of crims and blues).
See bottom of description for a description of an average kill.
You must have completed the quest Ritual of the Mahjarrat to kill them, and you can get to the cave by using fairy ring D-K-Q.
Doing this method I average 50-55 kills per hour and get about:
110k Magic
20k Strength
50k Constitution
112k Effigy xp/hour (about 50k rc if that's what you use them on)
Which is about 290k total xp/hour. (as well as 60k summoning in charms)
Drop rates:
Effigies 1/70
Boots 1/350-400 (average of 25m ea)
Shards of armadyl 1/10 (160k ea)
With a unicorn you would get slightly less magic and constitution, and slightly more strength, since you have to melee the sapping glacyte too. You get about 40-45 kills/hour which means you get slower effigies and make less money, but I recommend learning glacors using a unicorn since it's much easier.
Kill the glacytes in the order:
Sapping (put steel titan on it if using)
Enduring (you hit more on it the further away it is from the glacor, so shoot a fire surge at it to lure it)
Unstable (when the bar on the top of it reaches full, it stops moving and explodes, hitting you for 1/3 of your current lp.
I use F keys (F1, F3, F4 and F5) to switch between my invent, prays, mage book and attack styles since it makes it easier, and I have them remapped to my delete, home, end and page down keys so I don't have to stretch my arm as much (and they're close to mousekeys which I'm used to using).
Steel titan setup: (don't use steel titan when starting out)
Unicorn setup: (recommended for beginners, just take one overload and more food on your first few trips)
Notes on setups: Mage accuracy doesn't matter too much so there's not really much point in doing more than a 4 item swtich. Fire surge is used as attack spell since it does double damage (with chaotic staff and overlaods/extreme magics you can hit up to 994). Surgebox is better than arcane due to extra damage every 5 hits and once again because accuracy doesn't really matter. It also saves you 3 invent spaces.
You could use storm of armadyl to kill the glacytes (video showing it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubhZV_QEdNw , thanks losinggames) which would be a 1/0 item swtich (depending if you want to use armadyl battlestaff as your main magic weapon) which is slightly faster but also adds a bit more cost per hour since armadyl runes are 2k each, and you will take more damage from the minions/unprayed range attacks (you can tank them in bandos and just pray soul split on the glacytes). You could also use a damaging spec weapon such as dragon dagger or claws to kill the enduring glacyte faster.
Doing both of the above things would probably raise your kills per hour to about 55-60 (much over 60 isn't really possible since you have to wait for the unstable to explode.
An average kill:
Attack the glacor with fire surge. Soul split if you need health and switch prays accordingly. Move one square in any direction to dodge the special attack if the glacor fires it. When the glacytes spawn attack the enduring glacyte with fire surge and set your titan on the sapping if you're using one. Switch you your melee gear and move away from the glacyte (you can go about 5 squares further than the mage distance) so you hit more on the enduring glacyte. Melee the sapping if using uni or the enduring if using titan and use titan scrolls. Keep swtiching prays and dodge the special attacks if any. Make sure to move out of the way when the unstable glacyte explodes. If using titan you should kill the two other glacytes around the time the unstable explodes, and can kill it with one or two rapier hits. With unicorn it will usually have healed back up to 500 lp so it will take a little longer. Once the glacytes are dead, switch back to mage gear and fire surge and continue killing the glacor, dodging specs and changing prays. Don't stand too close to the glacor if you killed the unstable glacyte last since it will explode when its bar is full and hit you for 1/3 of your hp. Killing the enduring last causes fire surge to stop doing double damage on the glacor and killing the sapping last causes it to drain your pray.
Songs are: Ambivalence by Rhyno and Wonderman(Jacob plant remix) by Tinie Tempah and Ellie goulding.
